Hosted by Fordham University, links to a mixture of primary and secondary sources, such as firsthand accounts and analysis. Especially useful are the sections on "India under the British", "China and the West" and "Africa".
- Historical Maps @ Univ. of Texas
excellent site for historical maps of the world. Contains links to other museum and university maps as well as historical maps of their own collection. Divded by region.
- Proquest Historical Newspapers
contains articles from the New York Times (1857-2005) and Washington Post (1877-1992). timeline section on "imperialism" mostly has American topics, but search for keywords like "scramble for africa" and "berlin conference".
